My mate Jamesy stumbled across this video about the new England kits, designed by Aitor Throup and tailored on Saville Row. Feast your eyes.

Pin-ups
Ever since Hollie got obsessed with safety pins and zips a few months back I have wanted to mess around with the idea of them on clothes and stuff. We took a trip to the local shops and bought like 5 tubs of safety pins! I've messed around with oversized ones on neckless' and on my denim jacket(along with my studs). I saw someone attaching them the collar of their shirt and I had to give it ago.
I pinned a few onto my trusty denim shirt and decided to wear it like that for work last Saturday. I think it looks pretty nifty, I only did it on one side of the collar as I was really pushed for time. I will be sure to do it both sides next time.
Showing off my double denim or "double d's" as the cool kidz are calling it.
At uni a new project where we have to design a sneaker, to be produced by a company in conjunction with a designer, artists, musician.....basically anyone we want. I've got a few ideas, nothing set in stone yet though. So all this talk about trainers made me want to wear the only proper trainers I own, my good old New Balance.

Dadaaaaaa
Cut with the Dada Kitchen Knife through the Last Weimar Beer-Belly Cultural Epoch in Germany, by Hannah Hoch, 1919.What a mouth full eh, I'm currently doing research for a group presentation on the 1920s, though this isn't strictly in the 20s its of the style so I'm including it and I think it's ace too. You can see how Dada has influenced art/graphics ect, pick up any magazine and their still using this collage-y cut and paste type style. This basically looks like most of my sketchbooks, now I know where I get it from. Fun!

Colour balance
I could go for some of the new "colour chart" items for House of Holland Fall 09 collection, especially the blazers and shirts. Would someone like to buy me one?Image swiped from fashion156

Burberry

These are my favorite looks from the Burberry Prorsum Fall 09 collection. I know I'm a wee bit late on commenting on this collection but eh, I love it. It reminds me of watching Oliver at Christmas when I was younger, I love it because it reminds me of my childhood and I can actually see myself wearing it, and not just thinking " humm thats cool" and never thinking about it again. Christopher Bailey, what a guy!

Pocket watch

Times ticking of me finding my work placement for my 3rd year at uni. I'm not too worried as yet but I just wish I could find a few more possible jobs to apply for. I'm still positive though, something will come up im sure.
Im other news I finally bought some black Dr. Martens that I've been going on about for years now, the reason why I never bought some is becasue they never seemed to suit me but with time my style has changed and now they seem to work and just look a treat on my feet! They ive the illusion that my feet look like barm cakes but I'l get used to them.
