Looks Illustrated

I've been looking through  a ton of lookbooks for the next couple of seasons, to see what I'd like to get my hands on. Mostly it's the the mid-range sort of stuff I tend to lean towards, because it's more attainable than the catwalk stuff and superior in craftsmanship and detail to a lot of the high street stuff. So I decided to illustrate some of my fav looks instead of just sticking photos up, makes it a bit more interesting I reckon.

I'm pretty into the end results actually, super simple and striped down to just colour and shape. I'm looking forward to seeing some of these pieces filter into the shops over the next few months, roll on A/W!

  2. You did these. They are brilliant. Love them. I had friends stay over during the week who I went to Uni in Manchester with. Yep I went to Uni in M/C and loved every minute. I had them explain where the Northern Quarter was as it didnt exist when I was there ;-). Well it did but by an other name. Xxxx

These are really interesting! Love the abstract shapes and rich colours. Simplifying everything down to shape and colour really awakes the way you view things, these colour combos help me determine what colour goes with what, really helpful for when picking out an outfit!

    Hope to see much more!

Thank you, Glad you liked it! and no problem at all, stick it up there! I also agree about appreciating what you wear more too, definitely as you age I think.

  16. Ace :) All lookbooks should be like this. More should be left to the imagination, clearly. The fact that these clothes are just random geometric shapes makes them instantly desirable to me. I'm filling in the mental blanks, Hitchcock style.
